I.- Presentation of the basic characteristics of DDDL 8.13 –
This application is the electronic tool for servicing Detroit Diesel equipped engines, EPA07, EPA10 and GHG14 (S-60, MBE4000, MBE900, DD13, DD15, DD16). Note: It is not compatible with older versions of Detroit Diesel electronic packages. Those packages will continue to be supported with DDDL 6.X. The DDEC VI electronic package contains two controllers, the MCM (Engine Control Module) and the CPC (Common Powertrain Controller). The DDEC10 package includes the MCM, CPC and ACM.
(Aftertreatment Control Module). The Detroit DDDL 8.13 Diagnostic Link allows the user to perform the following standard operations on both engine platforms:
1- Perform standard fault code operations
2- Links to traditional and advanced troubleshooting information
3- Read real values
4- Perform service routines
5- Playback logs of all connected activities

DDDL v6.50 - For fault code diagnosis, troubleshooting, and parameter reading/editing on DDEC 5/MBE EPA 04 and older engine platforms. DDDL v6.x supports DDEC III, IV, and V, and all software versions of Series 60, MBE 900 and MBE 4000, EPA98 and EPA04 engines.
DDEC Reports: Produces a wide variety of diagnostic and management reports useful for analyzing driver performance. These reports provide the opportunity for maintenance and fleet managers to review driving habits and how those habits affect driving performance and engine and vehicle wear.
